Our group has just published their latest work on spinal cord regeneration in Developmental Cell. We show that in the regeneration-competent zebrafish, cells of myoseptal and perivascular origin promote axon regeneration by depositing a growth-promoting ECM that is deprived of growth-inhibitory matrix molecules. Please see also the press release.
