After the successful virtual Wombat 2021 Workshop in June 2021 with about 200 participants, we are looking forward to the 4^th international Workshop on Optomechanics and Brillouin scattering: Fundamentals, Applications and Technology (WOMBAT) at the Max-Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen, 14 – 17 June 2022!

The WOMBAT series of workshops aims to gather the international research community working on interactions between light, sound and mechanical vibrations and to bridge the gap between the fields of Brillouin scattering and (cavity) opto-mechanics research. At the same time, we strive to represent the full spectrum of research from fundamental science to applications.
