International Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS)

From 3 - 6 October 2017 the 3rd International Conference for Young Quantum Information Scientists (YQIS) will take place in Erlangen (Germany).

The conference aims for providing a possibility for young researchers to present their cutting-edge research on the stage, to discuss extensively with other young researchers and to build strong ties to the quantum information community. 

The program will mainly consist of talks given by young researchers. In addition, invited speakers from both academia and industry will give insight into their experience. Finally, there will be poster sessions and time for discussions.

The preliminary list of confirmed invited speakers includes:

Dr. Wilhelm Kaenders (President, Toptica AG)
Dr. Miguel Navascués (Junior Group Leader, IQOQI, Austria)
Dr. Grégoire Ribordy (CEO, ID Quantique SA)
Dr. Wolfgang P. Schleich (Professor, Universität Ulm, Germany)
Dr. Michael Totzeck (Fellow Corporate Research and Technology, Carl Zeiss AG)

The conference will also include an interactive tutorial where the participants will be introduced to IBM Quantum Experience. 

Submission for abstracts is possible until 15th July.
