In a joint initiative, the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light (MPL), the Friedrich Alexander University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU), the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (FSU), the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering (IOF) offer an international PhD programme: The International Max Planck Research School Physics of Light (IMPRS-PL).
