Bus route number 286 (alternatively 281, 288, 289) from Erlangen railway station in direction "Max-Planck-Str." to bus stop "Erlangen-Forschungszentrum" (time: ∼ 13 min)

From the airport Nürnberg it takes about 15 minutes to the Max Planck Institute by a cab.

By car:
Autobahn Nuremberg-Bamberg A73, exit "Erlangen-Bruck" Bundesstr. (main road) B4 eastward pass bridge across railroad turn right into Günther-Scharowsky-Str.
after 50 m turn left to "Siemens gate" at the traffic light.

There is a parking lot on the left. Parking lots reserved especially for visitors are available behind the barrier on the right. Please ring at the barrier to be allowed access.
