MPL Autumn Academy 2018

The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS-PL) presents

the 5th MPL Autumn Academy "The Physics of Light" for BSc and MSc students

Are you interested in the fast moving field of optical science including topics such as quantum information processing, metamaterials, nano-optics, photonic crystal fibres, nonlinear optics, imaging and sensing?

Then join the autumn academy for BSc and MSc students organized by the International Max Planck Research School Physics of Light.

Student talks, invited talks by leading experts and block lectures by MPL and FAU professors, combined with poster sessions, lab tours and evening discussions will introduce you to these intriguing research areas.

The MPL Autumn Academy 2018 will take place from Tuesday (October 9th) to Friday (October 12th) at the hotel Stempferhof in Gößweinstein. A bus shuttle will bring all participants from Erlangen to the hotel on Tuesday morning and back to the Max Planck Institute in Erlangen on Friday noon. Lab tours at MPL are then planned for Friday afternoon. A detailed programme will follow soon.
