Abstract:
In this talk I will discuss a number of experiments which are currently underway in my laboratory.
First,I will show recent results of a photon-pair source based on a few-mode fiber capable of scalable hybrid entanglement between frequency and transverse mode.
Second, I will discuss a novel spontaneous four wave mixing configuration in which the pumps counter-propagate from opposite ends of the fiber, and likewise the signal and idler photons are emitted in opposite directions.
Third, I will discuss our recent progress with the implementation of third-harmonic generation in tapered fibers, as an important step
towards the generation of photon triplets.
